Wasn't sure what to title this post... I have been watching the Chiefs this year and at first I was not too sure how I was going to like watching the games without fans in the stands. It's kind of strange to see the guys playing and almost nobody there. BUT, as the season has gone on there are a few things I have really come to appreciate and hope the broadcasters can find a way to incorporate into the coverage when things get back to normal... and even find a way to do it in college football. None so much as being able to hear the QB and the defense calling plays.

I hated the fake crowd noise the TV used at the start... but then they covered the Chiefs where fans were allowed in and they didn't use the canned noise for that game. When that happened we began to hear Mahomes and the competition calling plays. I believe Romo was the color guy for that game and he started to "educate" the audience about what was going on. It was fantastic and added a lot to the game. Since then I feel like they have reduced the fake crowd volume and and increased the field noise. And several of the color guys have started to comment on the play calls while explaining the action on the field.

Now, I have a tongue in cheek question... what's with Mahomes calling "Go Blue" before the snap of the ball? Closet Michigan fans somewhere in the organization?
