We know everyone is throwing lotsa money at recruits. The question is, how does Mizzou stand out with top recruits without having the funds to pay significantly more than the top schools?
Here’s an idea: start a Mizzou Alum Pension funded by NIL donations. Let’s face it, many recruits will not play beyond college. Even top ones. They will seek normal everyday jobs upon graduation and have real world problems. What if you were a top recruit and Mizzou guaranteed you $20k per year for 15 years after graduation? Would you take that over an immediately larger payday from a rival school? I would.
