When Evan Boehm conducted his research of Cooper Hackett, he admired the offensive tackle's athleticism in basketball.
Boehm, a former Missouri lineman now serving as the assistant director of player personnel and recruiting relations, offered Hackett on Wednesday. Boehm enjoyed watching Hackett's 6-foot-7, 250-pound frame move with ease on the court.
"He wants me to come up soon," Hackett said. "I can meet him and see how I can fit in with the team and coaches. ... He also liked that he hasn't heard anything negative about me."
While on the court this past season, Hackett, the No. 198 recruit in the 2027 class, played against Tigers signee Dakotah Terrell for Fort Gibson (Okla.) High.
