if u were comfortable kicking the long FG, why even throw the ball on 3rd down?
Run it again, u gain some yardage and make it a shorter kick, and u run some time off the clock or force SC to use one of its timeouts.
I gotta admit, I didn't think McCann would make that kick... But if Odom/Dooley did, why call the pass on 3rd down?... Hope that time we saved SC doesn't come back to bite us.
