Just received this bit of information, From a buddy who is a OU Booster and former athlete.

It may not be final as of now, but it appears OU and UT could be in the SEC in 2023, and no later then 2024
OU coaches are reluctant to talk, but some top recruits have repeated "hints" that 2023 is the initial year, with spring sports obviously jumping in spring of 2024.
The elephant in the room, of course, money. Who pays what and how much? Apparently, some kind of deal has been worked out between the conference (SEC) and television networks. OU and UT will have to take a reduced payout for a few years, relative to other members, to help solve the financial issues, but neither team would receive less then what they would have received in the Big 12.
of course until we get the official word, nothing is set in stone.

We will know for sure, before the SEC announces their 2023 schedule, which traditional happens in September.

Two things seem set in stone.
The SEC AD's will not agree to move to a 9 game conference schedule.
For the first 1-3 years the SEC will not be changing its current divisions, this could change if the NCAA agrees to allow the no division format that both the ACC and SEC are pushing for. OU should expect to be in the West with UT in the East for at least the first season, again unless there is a positive decision on the No division rule. If the no division rule is accepted, you are likely to see each Team with 3 permanent rival games.

Coach Gasso, strongly eluded to the conference switch for 2023 in her interview this past weekend.
