I always thought that Locks aptitude w throwing the deep ball (his greatest strength) really helped our running game. I knew KB wouldn’t be as good of a deep ball thrower but I thought his ability in the run game would help offset that and keep our run game strong, I also thought that would help our weakness in the run game (short yardage). After one week it’s clear to me we’ve either got to take more shots down the field or he’s gotta run it better. Also, I’m pretty disappointed in Rountree. That kid is one of my favorite players on the team but if in year 3 he cant be any better in the passing game then that’s a problem. It’s a problem for us and it’s a problem for him cuz he’s not gonna play on Sunday’s if he can’t pass protect any better than that. Nothing against Badie, I like him but we need a lot more from Rountree...hopefully he bounces back this weekend
