A friend of mine passed away last week. Larry Kuba was a member of the 60-63 Tigers under Dan Devine. He was a small town football star running back, but didn't have a lot of success at the college level. Growing up, we were all Illinois fans, that is until we went to visit him in CoMo in 1960, became an instant Mizzou fan and have been ever since, still have season tix. Both my sons graduated from Mizzou too!!!!! And are season ticket holders. By the way, the radio announcer (KMOX) back then was a fella named Harry Caray.... Just wanted to post this as a tribute to Larry in case any oldtimers remember him. You never know sometimes how people become fans!!!!!
