Apparently this has been an AAC thing all year, but I saw the ads for the first time tonight. Granted, there are some very large universities in AAC (enrollment) and some history. But football wise, are they really there yet? Memphis and Houston have had excellent, ranked teams in the last 3-4 years. I’m enjoying the Cincinnati vs UCF game, and there’s a lot of speed and good skill players. But the depth and lines are way behind Power 5.
On the other hand, Louisville is playing in the ACC.
Now basketball there’s possibly a legitimate claim.
