-Not a whole lot of new thoughts. Mizzou went through another cold stretch and maybe could've survived it if it played lights-out defense. That wasn't the case though.

-I wrote in my preview that one of the keys to the game for Mizzou was that they couldn't let rebounding play too big of a role in this one. It definitely did though. There were plenty of possessions where the Tigers played good defense, forced a miss and then handed the ball right back to the Commodores. To come back from a deficit, those types of things can't happen.

-Tamar Bates and Nick Honor found a little bit of a rhythm, but Sean East and Noah Carter couldn't get going again. It's just too easy to defend when there are only two players on the court you have to be concerned about scoring.

-Of all the games to get a win, this game and the last one against Arkansas were the two easiest chances. That doesn't mean they're going to go winless. But it means they're going to have to win a game they're not expected to.

-There's half a conference slate left to play. It's going to be a long one. Appreciate the folks still reading.
