On a teleconference with Coach Pingeton right now. Will pass along anything noteworthy

Pingeton says she's home schooling her kids and has a newfound appreciation for teachers.

Missouri signed a player today named Mama. So that's cool.

Has zoom calls with the team once a week. With them being a winter sport, they would have a little less activity this time of year than many other sports.

Last year probably her toughest year in 31 years of coaching. Leadership and who will take charge will be a big part of getting better.

Thought they would be more up tempo last year, thinks they have the personnel to do so next year

Said she "definitely has some feelings" about the potential transfer legislation. I asked what those feelings were. She is dancing around the answer a little bit, but clear she doesn't really support it. Says there are certain situations where it makes sense, but there are a lot of lessons to be learned in a year where you have to sit.

"Maybe we've got to do a better job doing due diligence when we're picking schools"
