Hadn't really thought about this before, but while looking over the scholarship breakdown today it hit me that Harold Brantley and Morgan Steward could both be in line to ask for a sixth year. It seems pretty likely that Steward will ask and if Brantley has a hard time getting back to the level he was at before another season could definitely help his draft stock.
If (and it's a really big if at this point) they both were awarded sixth years then there would only be 10 seniors for the 2016 season. That would have to be one of the smallest senior classes in Mizzou history.
Would also indicate the possibility of a strong 2017 season and a really small 2016 class. Possibly 13 or 14. Looking like 19 or 20 this season. 20 would put them 4 scholarships over the limit (as the roster stands now and counting Howell in 2016) heading into the 2026 season.
