Probably the earliest Mizzou piece I vividly remember from SI. I remember how excited I was when I opened my copy and actually saw an article focused on my favorite player. Chievous was one of a kind and I had no idea until I read the article. This was the kind of story that used to make SI special. The writers actually introduced you to your sports heroes like no one else did at the time. Such a different era.
