This long feature on Jimmy Kennedy was intended to be a unique look into the life of a major college student athlete. Writer John Underwood spent several days in CoMO, following Kennedy and his friends around.
Nearly 50 years later, it has interesting stories about student life, race relations, men's fashion, cost of apartment living in CoMO and Norm--who turns 89 today.
Back in the day, SI used to send subscribers branded sweatshirts as a gift for renewing. hey are my go-to-sweats for messy projects. Our Mizzou sonT just texted me to ask if he could have one to keep. I think I have three of them. Now they are heirlooms.
