So how does this NIL stuff work in practice?

If my tailgate group wants to pay a player to use their NIL for our tailgate, do we do it like "Gomzzu tailgate sponsored by Player X"? Or do we sponsor the player, like "Gomzzu tailgate, official sponsor of Player X"?

I need to figure this out.
