So in the most recent wave in the UK, they have added about 1.3 million cases since early May. They have added about 1700 total COVID deaths since the same time. The UK cases peaked 12 days ago.

That's a death rate of about 0.15%.

For those who want to know.

If you look at 2019 Flu season, you take the average number of cases in the range, roughly 48M cases and take the average number of deaths, 43K. You end up with 0.08% for death rate.

With those stats, can we relax the effing rules already?
