I know we have about 9 days until the Big Game, but some of us plan ahead.

Please add in this thread your SB specialty. I would appreciate it if you can add recipe or link to recipe. Generally, it is Chili time, I love this recipe from All Recipes: I did one chili one time that included a brick of chocolate. It was amazing, but I lost the recipe. I have made a couple times a Midwest twist of Southern Gumbo/Jambalaya, which is fantastic if you can cook it 1 day and then let it sit 24 hours in fridge, warm up following day and serve. I add in some cajun flavored shrimp as well.

Here's recipe

Jambalaya,

Ingredients
2 tsp of oil
¾ cup of diced ham
1 pkg of smoke sausage cut into1/4 in. pieces
1 ½ inch tenderloin cut into cubes
Stir and cook until meat is done (cook meat in skillet or bottom of stock pot)
Add 1 cup diced celery
1 cup green pepper chopped
1 ½ cups of chopped onion
2 cloves of garlic
½ tsp of pepper sauce
Cook 5 min.
Then add 2 bay leaves
1 ½ tsp of salt
1 ½ tsp of oregano
1 ½ tsp of white pepper
½ tsp of black pepper
1 tsp of thyme
Stir and add 3 cans of stewed tomatoes
1 can of tomato sauce
2 cups of chicken broth
Stir and bring to boil and simmer serve over rice

You're welcome.
