Did a little research this morning when I saw the new AP rankings, and Tennessee is the first SEC school outside of Kentucky or Florida to be ranked No. 1 since the Vols were on Feb. 25, 2008.
In that time, Kentucky has been ranked No. 1 at some point during six of those 10 seasons. Florida was once in March 2014. I believe Texas A&M is the only other SEC school to even crack the top-5 during that time (while it was in the SEC.)
