I have received the updated contracts for both Eli Drinkwitz and Kirby Moore. I'm sifting through them now. I do not yet have one for Blake Baker (not sure if I'll receive that now or not since he is no longer here, but you guys already know the terms of that).
Drinkwitz is under contract now through the 2028 season (five years). I'm trying to figure out the total money involved. It looks to me like he got a raise of about $2.25 initally with raises of $250,000 after two years and four years. IF my reading of this is correct, that would get him to approximately 8.5 million next year, 8.75 in 2026 and 9 in 2028. There are mutliple incentives. I'm not going to write a full story on this until I talk to someone that can help me make sure I'm understanding this correctly.
Moore is now under contract through the 2025 season. It looks to me as if he is set to make $1.1 million next year and $1.2 million in 2025 with multiple potential incentives. Again, I have to read through this and get a couple questions answered before I'm going to let you hold me to that information.
I'll get everything parsed and updated and in a story some time today or first thing tomorrow morning. This is what it initially looks like to me, but these are very wordy and not easy for an idiot journalist to figure out quickly.
