The one time free transfer rule is eliminated? Teams built totally on transfer senior/junior transfers would be screwed for a few years. With their young depth gone some would be fielding really bad teams...
I think Drink and Gates are being smart with this, identifying young transfers and still building up high school recruiting. Keeping guys in house happy but using transfers and nil to advance the current roster.
I doubt it goes away but it'll be interesting if the just became the wild period of college football
