Here's our hot board: https://missouri.rivals.com/news/powermizzou-coaching-hot-board-v1-0
Of those, Campbell, Norvell and Napier are guys I've heard Missouri has definite interest in.
I'd call Campbell first, but expect him to say no. After that, I'd narrow my search to two guys:
Bryan Harsin, Boise State--He's won a lot. He has kept a great program really good. He coached at Texas and should have some connections there.
Joe Brady, LSU--I don't think there's any chance Mizzou does this. But you can't just hire the same run of the mill guys and line up and do the same thing everybody else is doing in this league. You play at least five or six games a year against teams that have more talent than you do. You have to be different. Hire the 30 year old Brady, be the talk of college football. Be different. Take a chance. If it doesn't work, you're getting fired, but you're getting fired if the next guy doesn't work no matter what. So be bold and take a shot
