Recapping the game Thursday, who do you guys think impressed the most?
Most of the guys I list here are newcomers and on the defense, since that's the side of the ball with the most question marks.
My thoughts:
RB - Nate Noel. Looked dynamic. He was shifty, helped in the blocking game, showed flashes of speed. Loved his hands on the catch by the hashes.
LB - Corey Flagg - Was fast. I thought he was a run stopping, hard hitting inside linebacker. Maybe not a sideline-to-sideline kind of guy but he proved me wrong. Guy was flying all over the field.
S - Marvin Burks - A dude. He looked different out there. Weight room helped. Reminds me of a Carlies but faster? Hopefully he takes some better angles to the ball and is better in coverage than Carlies. But boy can he hit.
Any other guys you thought stood out?
