Why do KC players all think they’re too good for Mizzou?

We’ve all seen that over the last few years, KC kids haven’t contributed anything to the program.

It seems like this is the case because on the off occasion that KC gets a high level player, Mizzou gets nothing more than courtesy attention. Curious why the state loyalty seems to be at an all time low in the region.
