Just some food for thought for those who say Mizzou cannot win at the level necessary to reach the playoff with Brady playing the way he is playing. He's actually been slightly better this year overall other than yards per attempt (7.1 vs 7.9) than he was in the final seven games of last year, a span in which Mizzou's only loss was at No. 4 Georgia in a game it was driving to take the lead with five minutes to go.

SIAP: Tru Sons Podcast

Anyone here who hasn't yet checked these guys out would very likely enjoy it. Kevin Rutland plays the host and has Jeremy Maclin and Sean Weatherspoon along to break things down on offense and defense respectively. They clearly follow Mizzou closely and bring the unique perspective of playing at MU and the NFL. Additionally, JMac shares a bit from the coaching perspective. Check them out wherever you get your podcasts.

FOOTBALL RECRUITING A couple of notes, Babalola update

Caught up with Best after his return visit to Missouri this past weekend. He told me Missouri is a "top school of mine," so take that FWIW. Best has also taken gameday visits to Texas, Oklahoma, and Texas Tech so far this season. He said he's going to LSU at some point as well. Would say that's probably his top group right now and he does have an early FutureCast prediction to Oklahoma, so we'll see how things shake out.

Also exchanged messages with Robinson and Missouri made a very strong impression on him during his time on campus this past weekend based on his responses. Obviously, a top WR target in the 2026 for the Tigers. Robinson has also taken gameday visits to Texas A&M and Oregon so far this season.

I'll have stories on both later this week
