NEW STORY TOP 25 OF THE LAST 25: NUMBER 4

We're in the Final Four of our countdown of the top 25 Mizzou players of the last 25 years. The top player will be revealed on Wednesday, the day before the season opener against Murray State.

This is where it got really tough. I said earlier that the top seven players were pretty clear to me. Among those seven, the top four were clear. You could make an argument for any of the remaining four to be number one and any of them to be number four. They were all dominant, they all did things that had never been done before at Missouri. The order you put them in is nothing more than personal opinion and you know what they say about opinions. In short, there will be plenty of disagreement over the order of the next four selections, but I don't think there's any reasonable argument that they aren't the top four.

NEW STORY ELI DRINKWITZ'S MEDIA DAY PRESSER ENTERING WEEK 1 VS. MURRAY STATE

Says it's going to be the most difficult season opener due to Murray State having 60-plus transfers and new coaching staff. Can't gameplan like usual.

Team has spent a couple extra days preparing as they pull tape from so many different schools.

Says the team will have to fcous on their execution with things like tackling and not turning the ball over.

Wants guys to be excited but also on a "this play" mentality. Focus on what's in front of them.

Pointed out tackling and special teams issues in the games that happened Saturday. So, those things happen every week and he's trying to coach his team up.

There's no way to watch Murray State film.

Evaluating the players this week is a little different than last year when

Wants defense, to take the ball away, tackle, is multiple.

Still wanting to improve on third downs, red zone and limiting TOs.

They have a plan for Noel to start the game and then he and Marcus Carroll will rotate. He said they complement each other well. They don't think they have someone who can do the Cody Schrader workload.

Ja'Marion Wayne and Jordon Harris are questionable. Harris was wearing a green jersey at practice but they don't feel like he's 100%.

Brett Norfleet has been really good since he got back. He's 100%.

The first part of the season is about eliminating bad football. He thinks they're battle-ready.

Chris McClellan won the DT2 job. Marquis Gracial will be the DT3. They both did well in managing their weight.

Don't plan on holding back in the playbook. "The most important game on the schedule is this one." There won't be anything we won't call

They're watching Hudl tape to find out what Murray State's QB did. "It takes what it takes to win. No one is counting (the extra hours of work to gameplan).

Burden is the starting PR but Daniel Blood, Marquis Johnson and Theo Wease are all options too. Whoever is the freshest will do the return. The situation also matters, too.

FOOTBALL Refresher needed for game watching from outside the U.S.

It's been so long since I have traveled out of the country during football season, my memory on how to watch, or maybe listen, to a game from Europe is fuzzy. I have a VPN on my PC so I can select a link inside the U.S. to avoid the firewall the EU has put up to block some U.S. providers who do not want to follow the EU rules they think are uncompetitive.

But, what do I do from there? Should I just stick with web radio? What is the best MU radio broadcast station? Is it easy for a dummy to get the SEC network overseas? I get it at home on my cable system. I will be seven hours ahead of Columbia game time. I do have the option to DVR the games, and just watch them after I return. We are only talking about two games. I could always follow the in game and post game summaries from Gabe and Jarrod. Any game that starts after 4pm CDT will likely be too late for me to watch anyway.

Appreciate any advice from those who have knowledge and experience in doing as I would like to do.

Thanks. Go Tigers!!
