SIAP: Demetrious Johnson on 810

Really good interview with DJ about Luther and DJs role in Luther's career and more. I apologize, I'm on my phone and I can't get it to post correctly... It's on the border patrol, third hour about 29 minutes in. I'll try to fix this when I can get to a computer.

Marvin Burks

I knew his name rang a bell for some reason. His name and uniform number were used to disguise an ineligible player (Bill Jackson) during his freshman year at Cardinal Ritter. It was a big deal and several people lost jobs over it. I'm sure it has been discussed here before, but I wasn't a member when it happened in 2019. Interesting story nonetheless.

Funny story

My wife was born in Seattle and she went to UDub. We met 18 years ago when she lived in LA.

We have been out of the Big 12 for well over half of the time we’ve known each other and—for at least the last ten years since we’ve been in Seattle, I doubt she has thought of the Big 12 (or ku) once.

She just asked me if I wanted to go skiing on Saturday.

I said, “Uh…MU plays ku in basketball Saturday afternoon so…”

I thought “oh boy, here it comes” but she responded, “Oh wow! All good, what can I make for food while we watch?”

Even she gets it…

the tues recruiting show

really like these things Gabe..thank you

listening to gabe…with nil, transfers he got me thinking. I guess fandom changes. I no longer care who plays for mizzou. Just get the right kids and win…qb ? dont care..as gabe says “just pick the right guy”…same at every other position..dont care who year to year, just win . coach ad need to line up people to pay nil etc…all the rest of have to do is watch…sounds good.

Parking Question

So I just dove head first in the world of electric vehicles. My truck has a range of 300 miles. It is roughly 240 there and back but would like to charge up during the basketball game on Saturday because I have some serious range anxiety. Anyone aware of a place to park during the game with a charger?

Horn -
Pros: Highly rated recruit, good size, great arm strength, good accuracy in HS
Cons: Totally unproven, rumored to be not a quick study, on the skinny side

Pros: Stellar in 2021, relatively mobile, good vision and short/med accuracy
Cons: Coming off season-ending pectoral tear, so-so arm strength and deep accuracy

Muskett -
Pros: Career 63% passer, 2x all conference, slow but steady improvement each year
Cons: FCS, doesn't run, coming off season-ending knee injury, small
