MIZ wins the toss and elects to defer. ARK receives the ball first.
Starters for defense
DL: Isaiah McGuire, Darius Robinson, Kristian Williams, DJ Coleman
LB: Ty'Ron "Lil Hop" Hopper, Chad Bailey
DB: Ennis Rakestraw, Martez Manuel, Jaylon Carlies, Jalani Williams (in place of Joe Charleston), Kris Abrams-Draine
Starters for offense
OL: Javon Foster, Xavier Delgado, Connor Tollison, Connor Wood, Armand Membou
TE: Ryan Hoerstkamp
WR: Luther Burden III, Tauuskie Dove, Mekhi Miller
RB: Cody Schrader
QB: Brady Cook
First Series for defense: Isaiah McGuire with the big sack. I mean that was as good as a first defensive drive as Mizzou could have.
First Series for offense: Brady Cook with a nice run to start the game. Cook has taken a couple of nice licks to start the game. Mizzou is moving the ball well and we have a Mookie Cooper sighting. Mevis from 41 yards out is good. A decent first offensive drive. ARK 0, MIZ 3
Second Series for defense: Carlies missed that tackle on second down on KJ. Can’t do that too much. KJ to Landers for a gain of 37. Landers caught it right in between the zone for Carlies and Rakestraw. QB Keeper by KJ. That was easy. ARK 7, MIZ 3
Second Series for offense: Cook throws to Lovett for the first down for a gain of 12 but he had Cooper for a huge gain wide open. He makes up for it with a gain of 27 to Lovett a few plays later and then on the next play a gain of 24 on a pass to Cooper who was WIDE OPEN. Next play Cody Schrader has a three-yard TD. ARK 7, MIZ 10
Third Series for defense: Ty’Ron Hopper with a TFL his first in a couple of games. That was a huge one on third down. A good bounce back for the last drive. Limit the run and Arkansas becomes one-dimensional real fast.
Third series for offense: Lovett with that knack of adjusting to the ball in the air with a great catch for a gain of 55 yards. Mizzou with three plays of 20 or more yards already.
ARK 7, MIZ 10
