Drink has got an open bar tab of up to $1100 for the people in attendance at Bud's Classic BBQ tonight.
Speaks glowingly of DC Corey Batoon for how he called the game despite not knowing what to expect. Also, said the special teams did well.
The passing offense isn't where "we want it to be from a rhythm standpoint."
The positive from Brady's overthrows is he's making the right read and he knows where the ball is going to go. He reiterated that he thinks Brady was a little excited and working on a celebration instead of following through on the throw. He said no one was more disappointed than him, but Drink said Cook had a great camp passing the ball and didn't seem worried about Cook moving forward.
Jeremiah Beasley, Brian Huff and Nic Rodriguez played well. Drink is high on Trajen Greco. Every time freshmen come up, he is the first name.
Greco was a late add for the team. He's doing what the team expects him to do which is compete for special teams and defensive reps. He has immense athleticism and can jump high. He pays attention to detail well.
Drink thinks Nic DeLoach did a really good job.
Story on Schrader: He's disappointed to get cut by the Niners and then the next day he's going to sign a practice squad contract with the Niners. Before he gets to SF's facility, the Rams don't even call his agent. They call Schrader and let him know they want to sign him to their 53-man roster and he was at practice a day later.
Drink is really proud of Sam Williams. He's a guy who has made the rotation and Drink seemed overjoyed by his progress.
Jamal Roberts does a nice job of knowing the offense and playing fast.
Jones is good with the ball in his hands and knows
Kewan is explosive with the ball in his hands but he came in June. He needs to learn the playbook more. Also, protect the ball. He fumbled on Thursday but Mizzou recovered.
"We're going to need all five of those guys (running backs) this year."
