If Missouri were still in the Big 12, who could we beat with our current team and coaching staff? Let's imagine that Texas and Oklahoma are still in the conference and that the four invited schools have joined. Who do we beat?
I asked this question not to point out the futility of our current situation, I certainly believe that the right coach, given a few years, can build this program back to being a top three SEC East program. But right now where are we? And I hate to say it but Right now with the way we are playing we are in the bottom of our conference and our division. So how do we measure up from where we came from? Have we really improved?
Again it's simply a hypothetical... It means nothing and I'm not saying that we should go back to the big 12, and I'm certainly not saying that we are a mountain West or Sunbelt quality program.
