Exchanged messages with Simms regarding Missouri. He was back on campus twice during the summer and took in Mizzou's practice in July. Said his relationship with Peeler is good and he reaches out to him often. Said he's planning to get out to a game or two this fall.
Simms has increased his recruiting stock over the summer, picking up new offers from Louisville, Tennessee, TCU, K-State, Iowa, and Minnesota.
He's coming off a big season-opening performance, hauling in 9 catches for 152 yards and one touchdown in CBC's 52-28 win over Carmel (Ind.)
