Thought I'd put a thread here to keep from distracting from the Baseball means more thread on the Lair.

@Otis Blake good luck with the puppy pick today. Let us know which one you go with. Is it a hunting dog or do you just love labs?

@rubyreds111 Sorry to hear about you losing both of your dogs this year. That's got to be really tough. I lost one of mine about 18 months ago after a year long battle with congestive heart failure. Never an easy thing when you consider them a member of the family.

What makes you a heeler fan? Are you looking for a high energy dog? Outdoor or indoor dog? Working dog?

I'm a big dog fan. I like REALLY big dogs, because they don't require a lot of exercise. If the weather is crappy and I don't want to spend a lot of time outside with my dogs, they don't care because they are just big couch potatoes.

This is from a year ago. The one on the left is a 9 year old french mastiff, and the other 2 are Boerboels (South African mastiffs).

This one show the puppy at about 8 months.

And one year (about 135 pounds)

I couldn't ask for better behaved pups. They're great with kids too.

@Vladi Putin @Hound Dog32 Rhodesians are great dogs too. Is your's really high energy? The ones that I've met just need to run and run and run and run. I'm a little lazy, so I don't have the energy for that.
