Leaving Sacramento now to head back to MO….
Just wanted to say that the energy around basketball is real. I know that we aren’t happy with the result of the 2nd game but for those on here saying that the team didn’t want it as bad as Princeton are just wrong. Those players wanted it every bit as bad. They just didn’t have it for whatever reason yesterday. They didn’t give up. They fought like they did all year. They played as hard as they could and just didn’t have it on the day. Princeton played great. You have to tip your cap to them. They had a knack for hitting the shots when they needed to blunt any momentum MU was building.
DRF is a rock star and gets it. That fact cannot be emphasized enough. She will lead this department upward.
Gates has this thing rolling in the right direction. They have NIL up and running…. They are going to recruit at a high level…. They WILL win a lot of games and championships. I’ve never felt better about Mizzou bball and you should feel that way too.
For all the haters, you make your own life miserable. Try and cheer up! Have a lot to look forward to!
