A couple weeks ago I saw Theo Wease on the Finebaum show. Paul asked him about the Mizzou-OU rivalry being rekindled next year when the Tigers go to Norman. Theo quickly jumped in and corrected him, saying “they gotta come to the Zou, and we gonna lock the gates.” Great attitude in that phrase, especially with the momentum around the NEZ project. I can see it on locker room signage to get the adrenaline going just before they take the field. How about “Lock The Gates” #LTG as a rally cry next year similar to Something To Prove?
