Anybody catch "Tigers United" yet? Portrayal of MU fb program during M Sam's come-out season(s)...makes you proud to be a Tiger, hope our recruits see it...I mean that emphatically, it says a lot @ MU as a whole.
Some quick takeaways, not in order but via train of thought...
Columbia is one of the coolest small cities in the US on all levels.
M Sams' contribution has had an impact that will last a long time...Stewie on "Family Guy" was wearing a MS jersey last week and gave him props....given props on ww utube by Ellen Page.
Frank the Tank was one of the best touch passers in our Tiger history, under-rated b/c of injury.
Henry Josey was a great gift for 4 years.
I vote L' Wash as Tiger most likely to bleed black and gold if injured.
We won a lot of games under Mauk, I wish him the absolute best and hope he goes CFL, huge field agrees w/him.
Tigers put a lot of guys in the NFL from the 2013-2014 squads.
We didn't capitalize recruiting-wise after twin SEC East titles, hurt us badly down the road, not mentioned in the show.
I will always love Missouri and thank these guys for all they've done except the period between 1984-1996.
When Sam sacked and stripped the OSU qb in the Cotton Bowl that was the greatest play I've ever seen a MU player make.
Go Tigers.
Peace and out.
