Okay, so my love of soccer starts and ends with Ted Lasso...
I did watch the last few minutes of our match against Iran yesterday. I was kind of hoping for some..what do they call it? Oh yeah, hooliganism to break out. Unfortunately, I just saw grown men acting like big babies after the match. I also am intrigued by every small collision causing what looks like multiple fractures, as the grown man writhes around, and then hops up to the cheers of the crowd. It's as if a healing miracle at a revival occurred.
So after hours of play, and scores of 1-0 or 0-0, please enlighten me to what the excitement about this sport is?
