Came down to the final seconds again, but it wasn't Missouri's night. LSU walked away with the victory, 69-65. Sophie Cunningham didn't play, but Amber Smith had 27 points.

Pingeton, Smith and Jordan Frericks are talking now.

RP: "I was really disappointed with how we came out the first half. The second half we had an attacking mindset."

RP: "LSU plays a great matchup zone. But this one is on me. I had our girls a little too hesitant offensively."

Smith: "Coach said 'Stop settling.' So we shot more in the second half."

RP without Cunningham: "It'll make us grow up a little more."

Frericks: "It's not just on Coach. We needed to come out more aggressive."

RP: "We talked about having some meaningful movement to cause confusion. There was a lot more offensively in the second half. But there's a reason (LSU) holds opponents to 56 points."

LSU Nikki Fargus talking now: "Well, it's SEC play. It was one of those nights where we took more shots and came away with the win."

"We made big shots. When you play in the SEC, it helps when your big players make baskets."

"It's very hard to replace your best player. But what happens is, players step up. Sometimes you find players playing a better game. Their post game was great tonight. I mean, Frericks is a beast."
