There seems to be a lot of parallels between the Sooners entering the SEC and Nebraska when they entered the Big Ten:
**Traditional power without an in state recruiting base
**Significantly increased level of competition both on the field and on the recruiting trail in the new conference
**Apparent inability to adapt to a quickly changing landscape
**Entitled fan base with unrealistic expectations
**Vanilla head coach they’ve already begun to turn on
it might be wishful thinking, but I think they will have much less success than they are accustomed to, and could start a revolving door of coaches that sends them into dark days. God I hope so. It would be delicious.
