-Colin Castleton really found his footing in the second half, he completely stuffed the stat sheet. Mizzou didn't have many answers for him.
-I thought the Tigers missed a lot of bunnies, which has to be soul-crushing when you're trying to build momentum. They did a really good job of getting to the rim, they just didn't finish as many as they should. The refs let a lot of contact go in this game, but I thought that was the case on both ends, at least.
-Mizzou tried and tried to get a run going. Florida just wouldn't let them do it. Kobe had a dunk to trim the lead to five and Florida matched it on the other end. Kobe hit a 3 on the next trip down to quiet the crowd and the Gators matched it, again. That's good teams do at home, though. Mizzou's gotta find a way to keep going.
-Again, I don't think Mo Diarra deserves too much criticism for how he played. But I do question Dennis Gates' decision to throw him into the game in crunch time. Gates had called timeout down six and put Diarra in the game. Diarra somehow got matched up on Kyle Lofton and committed a foul 40 feet from the basket, sending him to the line for bonus free throws. Diarra was subbed out after the first free throw. Neither Kobe Brown nor Noah Carter were in foul trouble. The foul on Diarra wasn't good, but I don't think he should've been on the court to begin with.
-It's the first time this year Mizzou's lost back-to-back games. They've got two really tough ones next week. The good news is that the season is far from over, they'll be at home and they'll have time to regroup. Arkansas just lost to Vanderbilt -- they're not invincible. But the Tigers do seem like they need a reset.
