FOOTBALL TCU quarterback Max Duggan is a great story...

Was beaten out for the starting position going into this season...but rather than entering the portal he chose to stay.

His Horn Frogs were picked 7th in the Big-12 this presason and he was the backup at the start of the season.

Now...he's the starting QB for the most unlikely team ever to be playing in the National Championship game.

Quite a Cinderella story for the kid from Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Horn and Baseball (not the smartass question)

For those that follow our baseball team on the regular. I don’t watch college baseball but seems they only play weekend series and maybe a mid-week game? So how many starting pitchers do we normally have? And is it realistic Horn is one of them this spring or is he a bullpen guy based on what Mizzou has coming back this spring? And do we typically have freshman pitchers carrying high volume innings?

The only example of a QB playing through a THROWING ARM torn labrum is Andrew Luck

Luck later admitted he regrets how his shoulder injury was handled. This obviously was harmful for his NFL career, forcing him to retire at a young age.
