I guess I wasn't so wrong about things after all huh?

Yeah I'm not going to take this time to beat on my chest for being right about this situation simply because it's such a easy call to make. Anyone with 2 eyes that's been around or even watches football could call this out from a mile away. The fact that alot of you gave this fraud all the rope in the world tells me your football intellect isn't shit where you think it is. You're judging with your heart and that shit never... Never goes well in these circumstances. Then again I can't let it slide... You dudes know who you are. All you idiot mfs that spent the past 6 months or so telling me and others how uninformed we were... We think we know more than the coaches all because we went with what the eyes told us. And today's game was a microcosm of everything we've been complaining about concerning the Play calling and QB handicaps the entire year. Ima tell you like this... Men lie... Women lie... Numbers don't. When you run a spread offense and you don't score 30 pts against any P5 defense... The entire year..... Tells you everything you need to know. Everything.

NEW STORY SNAP COUNTS: WAKE FOREST

Main takeaway: Outside of a couple of players, Drink is only going to play young players when he is absolutely forced to. There's enough of a track record there to back it up. He talks about playing young guys. But when push comes to shove, he defaults to experience every single time

Thoughts from the 50yd line

1. Drink cannot call plays. He just has no clue what he is doing. Let the man recruit.

2. Brady Cook is not the answer. Most Sans @hoodtiger already knew this. The kid has terrible vision.

3. Bush Hamdan understood how to move the ball with what we had. Run Brady. Take the easy yards and force the defense to adjust.

4. We need a new QB via the portal.

5. We need the best OC we can find.

FOOTBALL History of Drink

So, I’m still sitting here scratching my head over Drink being an offensive guru…

He came from NC State as an offensive coordinator for two seasons and then to App State as HC. Did he have an OC while he was a HC there at App State?

I just don’t understand his success and then he shows up here and can’t get it done on offense. Was he blessed with above average QBs before coming here?

What does Drink do well?

Genuine question. He is supposedly an “offensive guru” whose offense is ranked 81nd in the country and at times looked worse than that. So bad that he gave play calling duties over to Hamdan. You can blame the QB which is fair to a point but Drink has had ever opportunity to bring a QB and yet it seems we haven’t even offered any qb transfers from this years transfer cycle besides a qb from Monmouth. I could be wrong but I haven’t seen any noise about offers. Before you say he’s a great recruiter, from his 2021 class the top 4 rated guys (according to TOS) have transferred or left not including Wingo who is arguably the best of the bunch. This years class ranks at 31 which is ahead of Kentucky, Vandy and Ole miss until you add in transfers then Kentucky and ole miss are ranked ahead. I don’t expect to compete for championships because we will never win one in the current landscape of cfb but it has to be better than this. Feel free to tell me why I’m a moron but the extension makes less sense every game.

Contiguous Coaching Conundrum: The 8-State Game!

Let’s play! Eight states touch Missouri and I think there are 14 coaches of some significance. Maybe I’m missing somebody, but here goes:
Kansas has Leipold and Klieman.
Nebraska has Rhule.
Iowa has Ferentz and Campbell.
Illinois has Bielema and Fitzgerald.
Kentucky has Stoops and Brohm.
Tennessee has Heupel.
Arkansas has Pittman.
Oklahoma has Gundy and Venables.
Missouri has Drinkwitz.

With a three-year sample to help us and coach #1 being the coach you’d consider the best no matter where he coached, let’s place Drink somewhere between 1 and 14 (unless I’m missing some coaches and the number goes higher than 14.)
Ready? Go!

Merry Christmas!

Who enters the Portal on December 5th?

Players are eligible to submit their names to the transfer portal on December 5th.
Who do we think or know is leaving?
Rumbling I have heard
QB Macon
RB Cox, Young, BJ Harris (Have heard BJs HS coach has been contacted about BJ potentially transfering)
TE Mckay
WR, Drink pointed out that other teams are pushing players to enter the portal, and there is a pretty strong rumor that Bama is trying to get Burden into the TP

DL T. Ford, K Montgomery
DB Hewitt, Sistrunk

Have also heard that Dove, Peat, Nicholson, and Jeffcoat may explore Grad Transfer options
