I would love to turn the Armory into a Mizzou sports hangout spot. Need to get a PM tailgate there for big Mizzou games. @GabeD How can we get this accomplished? Opening night was great and it's a great place to watch and play games with large groups.

Deion has revoked scholarships for this kid and others. I’m not too surprised because of the person and the situation but, was wondering if this was typical. Does anyone know if this happens often?

DBZOU will be hosting a pregame event on Thuraday evening before the game.

Likely to be held at Whiskey Joe's Bar & Grill from 7p to 10p (6 minutes from Tampa Airport and 11 minutes from Raymond James Stadium). The bar is located on beach on Tampa Bay- so great location:


We will provide some appetizers and a cake for dessert and raise money for DBZOU NIL. Have some merch and autographs.

Expect we will have lots of players family in attendance and hopefully lots of PowerMizzou folks as well 😀

I just re-watched the Arkansas game last night and I have a few thoughts.
1) I love the fact that we were able to get Wease to join the team. Having said that, Lovett is still a big loss. Lovett got open a lot and would have lead the SEC in receiving had we had better QB play
2) Speaking of QBs, I thought Brady Cook looked excellent. If we can get the same Brady Cook that started the last few games, we will be good at QB; hell he might still keep improving. I think the reason we started running him more often, is that Drink felt better about Horn coming in if Brady got hurt. That is a big deal folks. Taking the reigns off of Brady and his feet are a big reason we finished the second half of the season 4-2. We should be going for our 8th win on Dec 23, but alas we lost the Auburn game. I would be willing to bet Mizzou's chance to win that game was about 99.9%. It really sucks we lost, but I love how the team responded.

I look forward to Brady and the Tigers kicking Wake Forest's ass in a couple of weeks. I think we are going to be fine at QB next year.

I put this in a different thread because I don't want to take ANYTHING away from what Jesse and his group are doing. I have consistently seen them trying to make this NIL work and work through the regular fans... I have no idea what LBowers group is doing. I hear nothing and see nothing so have to assume there is nothing... (would have tagged him, but don't know his handle). Please, if you have the ability, support Jesse and the NIL, do so. If Bowers has contacted you... do it.

Now... I hate this. I hate NIL's having to beg for money so we can keep players. I hate fans being begged (some being made to feel guilty) for money over an above the tickets and TSF. I hate that it's over and over and over again in a never ending cycle. I hate that we can't build a war chest and live off the interest. I hate that this is all outside the University and the coaches control. I hate it all.

Why, 11 days from Christmas, are we getting a somewhat urgent message like this? Are they trying to take advantage of end of year giving? Or is there a real urgency? Either way, it should not be this way. I hate it.

I have no solutions. I have no idea how this will end up. I can't imagine the coaches like this at all either... can you imagine recruiting a kid and losing him because you can't get him enough money? It's stupid and I hate it.

This is at least his 3rd one... and STL County PD ain't messing around... They charged him with a felony this time.

And something else to note... Usually, when celebrities get in trouble, they try to get 'em in & get 'em out as quick as possible... McLaughlin got pulled over around dinner time on Sunday and they kept him detained and then arrested & housed in the real jail until Monday morning... Then, they actually released his mugshot... They almost never do that to celebrities... But they released Danny Mac's mugshot WITH the press release... Media didn't even have to ask for it... Pretty sure Dan's done as the Cards TV announcer... Question now is can he find a lawyer that can help him avoid jail time... Persistent DWI is a serious felony.

Cleared to play in the bowl game. Per a source, Mizzou was approved for a waiver it requested which means a bowl game would not send a player over the redshirt threshold
