-I'm not one who usually rags on officials, but man, the foul count was ridiculously lopsided in the second half. I think Mizzou fans have a legitimate argument to be mad about the officiating in this one. Some of those calls were really ticky-tack.
-I think the choppiness of the second half really affected Mizzou's flow. Tennessee pressed a lot more and Mizzou had to play at a slower pace. DeAndre Gholston made two really important shots to put the team back up by 10 and the Vols responded with a 10-0 run. Playing at a weird pace just sucked the life out of the team.
-The fouls also really affected the rotations for the Tigers. They didn't go back to that three-forward lineup that was working really well at all in the second half because Kobe and Diarra were perpetually were in foul trouble pretty much from the get-go and they needed to save Aidan Shaw for when that happened. Mabor Majak got minutes out of necessity (although, Mabor made a HUGE block on Zakai Zeigler).
-Credit to Mizzou here: they played through all of it. It would've been easy for Mizzou to fold after Tennessee retook the lead but they made it a one-score game on multiple occasions. I don't think many teams would've been able to pick themselves back up.
-That Kobe layup had a loooottttt of contact on it...
-I'm officially calling him DeAndre "I Got This" Gholston from now on. Holy moly what a shot.

-This wasn't the best game Mizzou has played all year, but it is without a doubt their best win. They'll have a chance to pick up another one at Auburn on Tuesday, I'll be there in person for it.
