My column from tonight

Does anyone else feel like we get in our own way trying to force the ball to certain individuals or trying to be too fancy on offense? We clearly have the better athletes and we get gimmicky instead of just lining up and playing football. We get in a rhythm and then rinky dink stuff throws us off of rhythm and it often takes a while to find it again. Several times tonight I found myself yelling just run the ball.

By almost 2-1 the house lost week one. 161 Survived and 96 were eliminated. Due to another game tomorrow night and the AP Poll not being released until after it, I am using the projected top 25 again. It will be back to normal with the AP starting week 3.

Rules:

5. A push = survive.
6. Feel free to ride the same team all year. No restrictions on how many times you may choose a team.
7. Every week I'll post the survivors and who got eliminated.

Not much else

Was in the 4th quarter of the Arkansas game from last season. A game we were leading 41-0 after 3 quarters. We have now (likely) played 3 games in a row without surrendering a TD. I don't care if you are playing the little sisters of the blind that is freaking incredible.
