BASKETBALL Trevon Brazile and Aiden Shaw

I'm no basketball maven, to be sure. But I've watched early season games of Trevon Brazile last year and Aiden Shaw this year. Am I anywhere near correct to say that they are similar? I thought losing Brazile to the transfer portal was a no-brainer (though it hurts that he signed with the Porkers) and quite a loss. But Shaw seems to have a similar body, and he has been pretty impressive through 3 games. Plus, he really wants to be a Tiger.
Those of you that are hoops savvy, please confirm my impression or show me why I'm way off. Thanks.

In football, you need 4 years to analyze coaches' recruiting patterns.

Obviously, Odom left the cup bare and in year 3 Drinkwitz has elevated the talent around the team (outside of quarterback) but we have several good quarterbacks who have much higher ceilings yet to play. We should think have beaten 4 of our opponents this year because of QB play that gets worn down in every game outside our first game. It seems to me that Drinkwitz wants to get players that have higher ceilings than the previous regime so this will have him winning games against the best teams in the country. Yet, guys like Brady Cook do not have the endurance to sustain drives throughout the game. A lot of college football goes in ebbs and flows but three things that sustain good football success is: Recruiting (which is 60%), Developing of talent (which is 30 %), and coaching (which is 10 percent). Drink is the best recruiter since maybe Al Onofrio or maybe ever. His ceiling is very high and I would like him to maybe make better coaching decisions but as long as he can recruit like this I think he will make better ones.

Hey Gabe….

For the first time since the 2011-12 season I think Mizzou could be a great basketball program in the SEC. These players seem to be motivated to get every steal and beat teams on the offensive end. I am so happy but how do future recruits fit into Gates system? It seems he values the assist to turnover ratio over just standing around. His basketball teams remind me of Mike Anderson’s or Billy Tubbs teams.
